Spring, Summer, Springy-Summer, Summery-Fall == These are the best seasons for blooms and colors. We live in New Jersey. So, we kind of have 5-6 months of winter when everything wilts, dries and looks more white(snow) than other colors. But come summer, its blooms and blooms everywhere.

I have been gardening quite regularly from past 3 years and added few of the Perennials(Plants that bloom year after year) along with vegetable garden in the back. Here are some pics if you are interested in garden stuff.

Clematis Vine – Beautiful Vine comes back year after year. The flowers are simply adorable. Might be adding white in the future.
Peonies
  • Double color Peach Rose
  • Wild Roses

Peonies are beautiful big bright flowers almost as big as your palm. They bloom only in Spring.

  • New addition
Azalea – Only annual I got at the recommendation of my neighbor. Blooms from spring through fall. They die in winter.

Vegetable Garden

Tomato plants – Tiny ones are here already

  • Lemon Balm Mint
  • Peppermint
  • Chocolate Mint
  • Sweet Mint or regular mint – It comes back year after year
  • Strawberry – Comes back every year
  • Chilly & Sweet Basil

    1. There are few hits and misses on my end too. I bought 2 rose bushes last year from Costco. They didnt work out but the Peonies I planted 3 years before started blooming last year. I didnt even recognize them when the plants sprouted in spring. lol
