See, I knew I was not the only one. So, lets get our hands dirty(a bit).
Recently I had a little party and made Mango Icecream. Once we were done licking the spoons of the leftovers, I realized I have leftover Cream which needs to be used up soon. So, I searched for something simple yet delicious…after all its cream I was going to use, there is no way it would be damn healthy. So I tried to search for something which will not add more guilt to it.
I found this site with very simple instructions to make Chocolate Mousse with just 4 ingredients. Right up my alley. Its just Cream, Cocoa Powder, sugar and any garnish. Voila…this single serve Chocolate Mousse arrived. I sprinkled Cocoa nibs instead of more chocolate chips or whipped cream to cut the sugar with some bitterness from the nibs.
All it takes is 5 mins and you have swoon-worthy Mousse. Enjoy !!!
Easy Peasy Chocolate Mousse
Fast & simple Chocolate Mousse in a pinch.
- Heavy Cream – ½ cup
- Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp
- Cocoa Powder –2 tbsp
- Pinch of salt
- Easiest & Fastest way – Add all ingredients in a jar with lid and shake it off like crazy for 2 minutes.
- Fancy – Cream the heavy cream with the kitchen aid mixer then add remaining ingredients and stir it gently.
Either way its going to be thick, creamy and heavenly. Enjoy it as is or top it off with chocolate bits, whipped cream, chocolate shavings or cacao bits like me.
